Landscape proposals for the redevelopment of two existing campuses onto a single site. Detailed design were carried out to accompany planning submissions for new student facilities and faculty buildings within a sensitive mature landscape.
The scheme provides a winter and summer garden for students and a roof-top terrace for staff and events. Proposals included temporary works for the decant strategy and co-ordination of tree surveys and ecology. Following a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal, further bat surveys were undertaken, and mitigation proposals prepared as part of a successful application to Natural England for a bat mitigation licence.
